Luka Murn

Luka Murn is and Early Stage Researcher who is pursuing his PhD on ‘Adaptive Content Delivery’ through a supervision collaboration between BBC Research & Development in London and the School of Computing and the Insight Centre for Data Analytics at Dublin City University. His research focuses on optimizing video coding schemes to deliver higher quality video content. Luka holds a BSc and MSc in Information Processing from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb. His master’s thesis revolved around unsupervised speech emotion recognition using autoencoder-based neural network architectures. During his internships throughout college, he worked on developing a face recognition web-application and as a continuous integration and automation engineer.
