Digital News Report 2021

By Gabriela Sanseverino

It is that time of the year again: when journalists, news organizations and academics stop to read and discuss the launch of the new Digital News Report, which is now on it’s 10th edition.

If 2020 already showed the impacts of the coronavirus for the news industry (and needless to mention the world), the 2021 report highlights how the coronavirus pandemic accelerate changes in the business, while also demonstrating the importance of enduring values, such credibility and accuracy when reporting to the public.

The 2021 DNR is based on data from six continents and 46 markets, and has the goal to highlight the key issues the journalistic industry is facing at a time of deep uncertainty and rapid change.

You can check out the general highlights of the report here.
